I don't even want to be in Park Slope the day 7,000 people show up to run a 10K in Prospect Park. That is gonna be a big mess.

The Brooklyn Half DID crash into itself. I was in the park near Park Circle. It took all the skill and experience of the NYRR to keep a disaster from happening.

This 10K will be starting on the 3.35 mile mark of its own course with a wave start. The leaders will get around the park in less then 20 minutes and crash into the people who are being held for the start.

Maybe it will work.
